Average Rating: out of 5 stars

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Not very well organized...
This book was not very easy to get through. It was too well organized. It is mostly outlines through the entire book. It was all I could do to finish it. Not recommended.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Summarizes information!!
Our class uses a text and workbook.. this is much easier to read and follow. It puts everything in outline form so its easy to study and good review questions after every section. Much easier to study for an exam from than a text book. Its still a big book with alot of info.. but much better format. I really like it..I wish my class used this instead.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Aehlert's EMT-B Review is excellent
This book is excellent for preparing for the Basic exam as well as for quick reference. Its outline form makes it easy and fast to find information you want to review quickly. In spite it of its outline form, it still contains a wealth of information. This book is a must have for any Basic student's library!! I have used it to prepare for my test, and have used it to help tutor other students. My acquaintances also attest to its helpfulness. MEGA-Kudos to Ms. Aehlert and Mr. Olson for a concise ... Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Helpful for an EMT student and a good refresher book.
Wish this was the book used in our class. More concise and goes on with more in depth learning. Gives more expected findings in the field and what to look for. The book is set up in an outline type of form that is easy to understand. Also like the "enrichment" part near the end of each chapter. It really adds useful info.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A humble word from one of the authors of this text.......
OK how reliable can a true review be if it is written by one of the book's co-authors? So this isn't as much of a review as it is a "heads up" about this text and its format. If you've read one of the traditional EMT text books, you are well aware of how wordie they tend to get. This text is a radical departure from the norm. Much like the other texts by Barb Aehlert (the lead author), this book is wonderfully concise yet inclusive (not an oxymoron in this case, trust me). I've taught EMT's and ... Read More
